The event is based in Nairn and you can complete the challenge in any kind of sea kayak, surf ski or canoe, paddle board, racing or recreational, that is designed/suitable for use on the sea. 

Dependant on wind direction there are different courses which may be used:

• Ardersier to Nairn
• Findhorn to Nairn
• Nairn to Findhorn

The event is organised by Nairn Kayak Club and is based in Nairn. Nairn is a twenty minute drive from Inverness Airport and is therefore easily accessible from many parts of the country including: London; Manchester; Belfast City; and Bristol. Ocean surf ski hire may be available, please enquire direct.
