Event Timings
Registration and Scrutiny
Registration will open at the Nairn Kayak Club compound which is adjacent to the harbour from 0900hrs to 1000hrs. All participants must check-in on the day of the event and present their craft and equipment for scrutiny. Please see the event rules for scrutiny requirements.
Briefing
The safety briefing will take place at the Nairn Kayak Club compound at 1000hrs.
Start
The expected start times are 1130hrs for paddle boards and touring sea kayaks; 1200hrs for performance sea kayaks; and 1230hrs for ocean surf skis. The start times might be adjusted dependant on wind direction and tides and will be announced on the day. Participants must have arranged their own shuttle and be ready to start half an hour prior to the start of the event.
Prize Giving
The prize giving will take place at 1600hrs.
